A jumble of synonyms and antonyms…

We are trying to think of a creative way to display all of our excellent word-work efforts in our classroom! Maybe a wee bit of fishing line is needed... hmmm?

Science Night

Thank you to all of our families who attended our super Science Night! I had a great time testing your reflexes.  Next weekend (Nov. 5th-6th) I will upload to this blog the slide show (presented last night) on “How to do a Science Project”.  You will then have it easily accessible to refer to when your child is working on the required elements.

Now is a really good time to be discussing with your student what topic they might be interested in and then by Thanksgiving or Winter Break he or she may want to get started on a project. Science projects are not mandatory in Third Grade. We suggest you give it a try & have fun with the process.

Children may do their own personal project, or work with two or three other students on a group project from their same grade level and school. Most years we have a couple of teachers giving an after-school class in January guiding students who are motivated.
