We have begun discussing several of Vincent van Gogh’s works of art. The first is “The Potato Eaters”, 1885. As we examine this painting we see clearly how difficult life was for these folks.
Our resources include many art books, some written for children, a DVD about the artist, and the Google Art Project. Google allows us to travel through our virtual world to the Vincent van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
