One option for all students who have internet (and a printer, if you want to print off math worksheets) at home is to visit the Reading Language Arts and/or Math websites furnished to us by the publishers. All students have this information.
Here are the web addresses:
Reading/Language Arts
user name: SME # (each child knows his/her user number)
password: pearson11 (publisher name and our room number)
Work available is all web-based and is arranged by Story Title; cross-reference with the UNIT Spelling/Vocab sheet (in plastic sheet protector/3ring binder) for current story.
Mathematics
http://www.eduplace.com
No log-on info necessary, follow prompts (California, MATH, 3rd grade, etc.)
There is a yellow colored tab labeled “Students” & the green tab is labeled “Families”. Students know how to navigate website.
